Scheduling Your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies are the perfect way to celebrate a major milestone. Here are some key details to help you plan your event:

• Event Occasions:
  Perfect for a Grand Opening, Expansion, New Location, Rebranding, or a Significant Anniversary.

• Timing:
  Schedule your ceremony Tuesday through Friday, between 10 am and 4 pm. This ensures that a Chamber representative, as well as County/Town/Village officials, can attend. Please note that evening or weekend events typically see lower turnouts due to professional and personal commitments.

• Cost:
  Ribbon cuttings are free for Chamber members.
  For new members wishing to take advantage of this service, please note that membership dues must be received before planning or publicizing your event.

• Coordination with Officials:
  We’ll alert the relevant County, Town, Village, or Hamlet offices about your event. Although officials’ schedules sometimes prevent personal attendance, their offices usually make every effort to send a representative.

• Supplies Provided:
  The Chamber will supply the large ceremonial scissors and the blue ribbon for you to cut.

• Marketing & Promotion:
  We’ll assist you in promoting your Ribbon Cutting—whether you prefer a public celebration or a more intimate, invitation-only gathering is entirely up to you!
